My sampler is an AKAI 3000xl which I bought recently as it's the recommended for the Pinder Mellotron CD-ROM. Now I have to buy a CD-ROM drive and SCSI cable. There's a variety on ebay. I know how many pins are at the back of the AKAI and each Mellotron sound is a 16 meg bank in the AKAI format. That's all I know. I have no experience here. Is there anything I should be paying attention to as far as the drive is concerned? Your help is appreciated.
