mbox monitoring

I am having trouble with noise when monitoring from the mbox outputs.
I want to use the playback inputs on my soundcraft board.(they are stereo rca)
Does anyone else use the origional mbox?
If so, how are you monitoring?

What kind of noise? Like white noise? Buzzing? High-pitched ring?

its a high pitched buzz.
I have done many tests.
It comes out of the main 2 outs, and both the headphone outs.
The only time it went away it when I used TRS cables in as test. The problem with that is, I need to go 1/4 in to RCA. Its a souncraft spirit8 mixer. I really want to use the monitor feature, so I guess I'll have to live with it.
The sound isn't being recorded anyway.
Can anybody help??
