Massive vocal effect

Hi all, can anyone help me figure out how to achieve this massive vocal sound? The particular parts I mean are at 57secs and 2.08mins.

Just reverb? I can hear the reverb but it sounds like there's 1000 voices. Is setting the number of voices a typical feature of reverb effects?

It's a terrible sounding recording (not assuming the actual CD sounds like that, but the YouTube is horrible) so I can't make out the details. I would imagine there might be a couple vocal dubs, but I've worked with so many DM guys with odd multi-timbral voices (usually from nodes on their vocal cords) that I wouldn't be shocked if it wasn't just that.

In any case, if it's multi-dubs with a lot of reverb, there you go. But don't expect to get that sound without that voice...
