Hi everybody.
I'm using Cubase SX to record audio and midi in the same project.
I'm having some problems with MIDI latency.
My soundcard is an M-Audio Delta66 with the OmniStudio box.
I'm using an old controller keyboard via an M-Audio Midisport 4in4out via USB for MIDI input.
Now, when I'm playing the VST instruments via MIDI there is no noticable latency. I can happily record along to my audio tracks.
However, when I play back the audio and the midi; the midi is always slightly behind, meaning I have to either quantize or physically move the midi back into sync.
What could be causing this and is it a common problem?
