marshall mxl 2003 & 603s mics

what do you guys know from expierence from these two mics? they are selling together as a combo, they probably suck though, i dont have a clue

They are both useful mics and well liked by many, especially the 603.

Where are they selling as a combo?

If it's the 2001 instead of the 2003, I've heard only bad things about that mic.

yes it is the 2001 model, and it looks cheap, i was thinking that earlier, but i just thought maybe i just dont know, but yea its that one and the smaller condenser.

The best thing that I have heard about the 2001 is that if you are handy you can use it as a basis for the $299 Mojave Audio ( http://mojaveaudio.com/products.html ) tube mod and have a respectable tube microphone at the end.

I own a matched pair of the 603's and find them to be very useful mic's at a great price point.
