What makes this amp unique is that it is a Hybrid amp much like the Marshall Valvestates. But unlike the Valvestates, the Artist has a solid state preamp and a tube power section.

There are two channels that are foot switchable, the clean and overdrive channel. The overdrive channel is nothing but classic Marshall tone.

The amp is 30 watts RMS and has two outputs. It also has an effects loop and a line-out. And the impedance is switchable from 4 Ohms to 8 Ohms.

The amp is 30 watts, but mix it with the right cab and you'll have a monster amp that can hold its own against almost anything. It's been compared to the famous Marshall JCM800.

I suggest looking up this amp on HarmonyCentral.com. They have some great reviews on it. Also, I suggest looking up some videos on YouTube.com. They have some great demos of this fine and rare amp.
