ok. I know this is too small for a good sound but I'm thinking of changing it around to get in 'better'.
Box room - 9'x7'x8'.
Monitors - Behringer Truth active. On sturdy stands with spikes.
I currently have the desk and speakers set up along the longest wall with acoustic foam behind me. This sticks me dead centre of the room.
If I changed it round so that the sound was firing along the slighty longer direction with the foam on the sides (to help imaging) any ideas (or guesses) as to any difference in sound.
... I can't have foam on the rear wall this new way round due to a door. Although I'll look into other solutions later. Just hoping for some thoughts before I unplug everything!
