Magnetically Shielded

I have this pair of Magnavox tower-ish speakers that I'm using for tracking monitors. I have limited space so I them within a couple feet of my monitor.

How can I tell whether or not the speakers are magnetically shielded?
There's nothing happing to the screen when the speakers are playing, if that matters.

And it's an LCD monitor, if that matters, also.

LCD probably does not pick up magnetic interference. I dunno for sure. If you had a CRT and your speaker monitors were not shielded, your monitor would clearly distort and you would know about it.
