Although there has been some reference to this being a toy,for me,resuming recording after a gap of a couple of decades or so itseems pretty cool.
However,I can't find a way of getting to HEAR the first track whilst I record it,even tho' I'm connected up to an amp with a headphone socket ,and speakers too if I wish.
The " Monitor " facility referred to seems to be a visual thing for a really funky looking coloured sort of vu meter..Does anyone out there or in here know enough about this kit to suggest where to click so that I can listen to myself at the same time as recording myself on the first stereo track,or does the prevailing wisdom indicate that it isn't a good thing to do.
The computer seems O.K. a 2.7 GiG. Packard Bell IMEDIA. WITH 256 Ram ,although the sound card is integrated as are the graphics.
I get the feeling that therer are some powerful heads in this forum.Anyone feel obliging ?
