Mackie 32x8

Just picked up a Mackie 32x8 board. Didn't really need it, but the price was so low that I couldn't pass it up. Anybody using one? How's the pre's? I'm thinking they should be better than my Behringer Eurorack mixer.

Hi.
I have been using one for 13 years. I think the Pre's are very good and transparent. I have had no problems with it until now. I have to replace a couple of worn faders and volume pots. I guess that is to be expected. This board is still in production, that says alot.

Nope, board is discontinued.

That must have just been discontinued recently, A friend of mine just bought a 24-8 from Guitar Center. Oh well, That figures, manufacturers seem to give up on the good stuff.

That's interesting. I had'nt even noticed Mackie no longer has 8 bus studio in their line.

2408 here but it's doing phones and tracking monitor duties mostly.
