Mackie 1202VLZPro, Yamaha 12/4, or Other?

I have a question on Mixers that maybe one of the Pros out there can help me with, since I'm new to all this.

I'm looking to buy a Mixer, and what I would like to do is Route the Channels (howerver many) to 4 outputs into my Korg D12 (can record 4 channels at once). I can tell from the Literature that a Yamaha 12/4 will do that, but everyone seems to hold Mackie in high regard. The Mackie 1202 VLZ has four Channel out the rear panel, can you bus the channels to those four?

I can pick up a Yamaha 12/4 for $300, a Mackie 1202 VLZ for $350, and a 1402 for $465.00. Just not sure what will do the job.

Any help or product suggestions with this will really be appreciated.

Thanks....Frank

I found the answer to this on Mackie's Website. When using the "Mute Alt 3/4" for each channel, it mutes the audio to the main outs, and at the same time, routes the audio to alternate outputs. So yes this can be done. Nothing in the manual states this clearly. Helps me somewhat in my decision.

Thanks anyway folks......Frank
