I loved my M208 in the 90s when I was recording to 1/2" tape. Now, I'd like to use it in a pc-based setup w/an M-Audio Delta 1010 interface.
My question: Will the preamps in the M208 keep me from making stellar home recordings? Should I buy additional preamps? If so, should I use ones built in to the Delta 1010LT (cheaper but no breakout box like the 1010), *or* do you think I should go with hardware preamps?
