I have a Midisport USB 4x4. My DAW is WinXP SP3 and the M-AUDIO drivers have installed OK. Windows Media Player sends MIDI data to Midi Port A OUT which is connected to my sound module and it playes the MIDI file just fine.
My keyboard is on MIDI IN Port A. For the life of me I can't find anyway to map MIDI IN A to MIDI OUT A on the Midisport USB so that my keyboard can drive the MIDI sound module. I can not not find an M-Audio app that does this. All I want to do is send MIDI data from my keyboard to my sound module. I could connect the two directly but that defeats the point of having a MIDI interface.
My MOTU rack midi interfaces all have such an app and it makes life very simple. I can map the INs to the OUTs and save them in a config file. How do I do this with the MIDIsport? Does M-AUDIO have such a utility for their MIDI interfaces? I didn't see one on their drivers page. Or is there a third party utility that can do this?
