M-AUDIO FIREWIRE AUDIOPHILE vs FIREWIRE SOLO

dont know which to get, need help to decide. which out performs the other?
im leaving the usb mobilepre and will be going firewire now
 
I haven't used the audiophile, but I have a firewire solo and it performs great. Does the FW Audiophile have balanced inputs? If not I'd go with the firewire solo but that's probably a biased suggestion, it sounds as good as my 1010 imo.
 
You might wanna note that the Audiophile does not have built in preamps. So if you wanna record vocals with a condenser you are gonna need an external preamp with that audiophile.

yea im aware of that after doing some research, i currently have a presonus tube pre amp.
would it be better to use the amp for the presonus , or should i go use the solo amp?

honestly it wouldnt make any difference seeing as they are both low end amps
