M Audio Delta Question

is the 1010-LT much different from the full 1010? is it the same board, but with unbalanced connectors and no rackmount?

what accounts for the LT costing only almost HALF as much as the 1010?

The 1010 has the breakout box with ins & outs right in your face, hence the increased cost. More user friendly and rackmountable.
They also may have different converters.

The 1010 converters are in a rack unit which makes better (and more expensive) sense for keeping potential noise problems down. The 1010 has considerable higher dynamic range over the 1010 LT.

the 1010 also has balanced 1/4"inputs while the 1010lt has unbalanced RCA's......
