Just installed a new M-audio 2964 card into my Vista pc with all the latest drivers downed from M-audio & followed the manual to the letter & all appears to be ok except no sound from Tannoy monitors. The card is being recognised & input / output meters are shownig disc is playing etc. Checked the monitors with different machines, monitors are functioning as they should do.I have gone into pc manage and ticked all the right boxes but still no sound. Media player is saying there is no soundcard enabled yet other devices are recognising. Any ideas. This new vista pc is not my main pc for recording,just had the M-audio lying about so thought I would try it out. At this point I'm much preferring my old xp with soundblaster card. Any help would be appreciated. Ok guys sorted the problem.
