What is the low to high frequency range covered by the phrase " low frequency"?

Cheers,
Mike

"Bass" starts around 250hz according to image-line

^^^ LOL, that's exactly what I told Mike in another forum where he asked.

^^^ Ditto....that's where I think of as bass beginning too.

from 20hz up to 250hz are the low frecuencies if im not wrong

Just me thinking out loud...if 20 hz is low then yes, 10 hz would be lower. What I wonder is where does the audible spectrum stop? Can the human ear detect frequencies below 20 hz? 10 hz? I dunno...

Good question. I'm sure there's a limit to how low someone can hear, just like there's a limit to the high's. But with low's, I think we can still "feel" frequencies that we can't hear. I'm pretty sure you can send someone running to the bathroom with the right frequency that only his bowels can hear. :D

That would be an awesome party trick, especially if there's only one toilet...
