Lost files???

I have two files (drum tracks) in n-track.
They do not appear on the list of items to be able to open when clicking on FILE>OPEN.
They do however appear when I click on FILE>IMPORT WAVE FILES.
Can someone tell me how to get these two tracks set-up to where I can add the remainder of the song to them?
I really don't want to lose the tracks.

Statecap, open up the song that you want to add the wavefiles to, and then import the two drum tracks by using the import wave command. Then save the new version of the song. The command to open will only import a saved song, and not wave files.

Since they are wave files. I am giving it up and just going to redo the drumming over again.
Now when I try to open a "new" file, a window keeps popping up saying "SAVE NEW SONG WAVE FILES? yes-no-cancel
Regardless of what I choose (yes,no, or cancel) the new tracks keep copying on top of one or another.
What gives?
I hope I'm not too far gone.
All this stems from not saving the file as a specific song when I should have and trying to go back at a later time to do it.

Any ideas???
