"Lord of The Flies" Rock Song

Me and a few other classmates are making a "Lord of the Flies" music video (you know the book about the kids getting stranded on an island). So i recorded a song for it...

Im kind of a newbie..but im curious on your feedback. Its kinda tribaly at points then it has a rock-like chorus. I dont have to much equiptment so i didnt get to the bass drum yet. So thats way its not in the mix. I didnt get to the vocals either so there not in there either. I just want some comments on how it is so far and what i can do to improve it. thanks!

I liked the song. I really liked the guitar lines in the chorus. The snare drum definitely needs to come out and sounds like its missing a lot of its high end. It also sounds like the drum beat gets a little bit off at times, especially with the snare. I'm interested to hear what this sounds like with vocals.
 
thanks for the tips..ill sure try them out..anyone else got any comments?
