Looking to utilize Reason through midi....

I have a cheap keyboard, and would like to hook it up through my USB port to control the synth rack within Reason. Since the keyboard has midi out and in, if I purchase a interface (midi to USB), would I be able to control the Reason synths and use Reason to produce sounds within the program?
