Seen the manual offered online anywhere from $17 to $75. Sorry, mate, don't think you'll find it for free.

Actually the only reason I need it is I need to identify the part number for the buttons on front. See pic.

Anyway, I just found Sweetbeats Tascam 234 story, so maybe I'll try contacting him for those.

Also, does anybody know if the idler tires are the same for the 234 as for the 244? I still have 2 extra O-rings from refurbishing the 244.

You can just call Tascam Parts and describe what you want and they will look it up for you.
