Looking for some feedback on my "Neil Young" type mix/master

Hey guys,
I posted this mix on the forum about a week ago, but we've mastered it since then.
This is the mastered version and I'd really like some opinions from the community. How's this coming across on your end?

I really liked the opening segment. I thought I was going to hear some really great country music.....and then my eardrums exploded!

It's a good tune, but you need to do more work on the mix before you can even consider it ready for mastering.

I agree the intro would have led into a nice country tune.
Sounds quite good thru earphones.
