for artists with bluesy, acoustic fingerpicking and/or tabs . I'm trying to learn something new, preferably in standard tuning. This is the kind of stuff I'm interested in learning.

Mississippi John Hurt
John Fahey
Martin Carthy
Phil Keaggy
Gary Davis
David Bromberg
Doc Watson
Ed Gerhard
The list is long and rich.

Stefan Grossman's guitar workshop

Great stuff.

Mel Bay and Hal Leonard have a lot of great stuff, including transcriptions of many fingerstyle artists, and most books come with CDs now.

With Hal Leonard and MEl Bay I tend to stick with methods featuring artits I like, avoiding generic method books, especially as you advance. Though I do recommend some kind of general book to help with basic techniques and terminology.
