Looking for help w/studio set-up

Hey and thanks in advance,

I have a pc, 16 ch Sunn proline board, behringer 12 ch board, mics and outboard gear.
I'm using Vegas now, but am thinking of using Pro Tools.
I play drums and want to record jam sessions and demos.
what can you suggest to complete my set-up?
I want 16 tracks live ability, what sound card would bets suite my needs?
c-port seems to be good, is a pair of those the answer or is someting else better?

Can you share some of your set-ups with me to see what options are out there?

Well, look at your needs. Why do you want Pro Tools over Vegas? If you want to use it, look at MOTU, I believe it works well with ProTools, from what I have heard it sounds ilke a standard setup. Do either of your boards have direct sends on it?? You'll need that to send 16 at a time. It can be done, fairly easily, you just need the right card and mixer.

the sunn board has direct outs.
I've been recording anolog for about two years and I'm just uninformed about sound cards. What should I be looking for as far a specs.
