Logic Presets ... do you use them?

Hey everyone,
I am almost done recording my new album, and want to mix it faster than done before.
Wanted to ask, do you guys use the track presets in Logic? Are they really good mixes for each instrument? Do these presets for the most part know what they're doing, or are they junk? Good starting point?

For the most part, they are a good starting up point. Although I have been happy leaving some of the compressor settings where they are..

Yup. Start with the presets and then experiment.

hmmm, might have to try this out. ever since i started using logic, i've always custom mixed each track.

never ever ever, I deleted 'em/made my own set and it sped up my workflow considerably.
