Logic issues with MacBook

I am thinking about buying a newer MacBook. It's primary use will just be email and normal stuff. However, at some point it might be nice to buy Logic to do some remote recording.

I've heard that the new Intel chip in the Apples have had problems with Logic as well as some ProTools hardware. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this?

I don't have money for a MacBook Pro..

Can't speak for ProTools, but I had no problems with Logic on a MacBook.
I used one for a couple of months before switching to a MacBook Pro.

Logic is universal binary, so there aren't any compatibility problems. some of the otherp ublishers haven't made UB apps yet, but they're on the way
