Got a new computer running a Line 6 UX2 and am trying to get some old SX3 songs working with Cubase 5. Got a problem with my old LM4. If I play a long sample such as a cymbal by itself it's fine, but if there's a lot of sounds being played then the cymbal will play for a bit then drop out. Any ideas as to what's going on?
Really want to fix this because I think there may be a problem with my new setup. After the sound has dropped out in my headphones it's still registering on the track's meter. If I mix the song down to mp3 same problem. I've played around with different ASIO drivers and buffer sizes and whilst it helps it doesn't fix. Is there a way to assign resources to individual VSTs? When I play a song using Superior Drummer I don't have any problems and that uses an awful lot more than the LM4.
Cheers
