Man, this was a an interesting one. Three guitar players, two singers, a bass player, and a drummer. And only 8 channels for everything. I ended up throwing a 57 in front of each guitar cab, the bass was DI, the lead singer went thru my sm7, the backups were my AKG D5, and the drums were only two mics - an MXL condensor inside the kit, in front of the snare drum and an Audix D6 inside the kick drum. I'm really happy with how the drums ended up turning out with only two mics.
