line level Shifter +4 and -10

- dBu represents the level referenced to 0.775 Volts RMS with an unloaded, open-circuit source
- dBV represents the level referenced to 1 Volt RMS. 0dBV = 1V.

+4dBu and -10dBV systems have a level difference of 11.8 dB, which is almost a voltage ratio of 4:1

So I get 4 times more creamy layered compression for every 1 creamy layered compression in the channel how does this work?
How do I do it?
What is RMS?
What is dBV?
How can there be open source circuit if the circuit is open? Why is it unloaded and open?
No source?
Why is this?

SAVE money on doorbell batteries by removing them and simply popping to the door every two minutes to see if anyone is there.
