Line 6 pod UX1

Anybody using one? Just bought one on a whim, hopefully ill know what to do with it. Any thoughts or opinions on these things?

I guess I'm just confused as to how i will use it with reaper. I have a Xenyx X2222usb board to record thru, am i going to hook up the ux1 POD to my board with the L and R outs on the POD? Or do i just plug in the USB to my computer and let 'er fly? mild confusion here, hopefully i didnt just blow a hundred fifty bucks.
 
You may find you like the sound of a guitar through the POD to your DAW, and mics through the Xenyx - do A/B comparisons to find out which A-to-D converters give you the best sound for what you are recording.
 
hi. i have a question consearning line6 pod studio ux1 and line6 pocket pod. is there a way to connect the pocket pod to pod studio ux1 and record with sounds from pocket pod, without using the software (pod farm), or if it is inevitable, which preset should I use from pod studio? thank you very much. greetings from Croatia :)
