hello
Soundtech (owned by Washburn) is releasing a USB to Guitar cable. The actual sound card is built into the cable itself. I have one on order (they're not released until next monday so preorder only) and will post my results here.
Was just wondering if you guys had any thoughts. It seems like a cool way to get inexpensive digital recording from any instrument that has a 1/4" out. It has decent specs too. A few specs:
* Resolution: 16 bit 48Khz
* THD + N (-3dBr): -76.1 dB
* SNR: 83.1 dB
* Dynamic Range: 81.6 dB
* Input impedance: 1M Ohms
* Frequency Response 48KHz: 20 - 19.2K Hz
* Signal Input Range: 0 - 2.88 Vpp
* Signal Boost Gain: +20 dB
It aint 96/24 but its also only $40.
Check it out here:
