By the way, I tried the Carvin and the pickups had no character. I ended up going with a Virtual Vintage Solo in the bridge, my 1987 HS3 into the middle position and a new YJM in the neck position....sweet...very sweet...Robert

Much has been happening of late....

I ended up using the Virtual Vintage Solo in the bridge, the HS-3 in the middle and the YJM in the neck position.

Now I have a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 with EMG's and between the two, I have a lot of versatility.

The DiMarzio's sounded so much better than the Carvins...Robert
