lexicon lambada interface..£40..should i buy it(a.s.a.p please)

hi all...quick question from newbie.just spotted a lexicon lambada audio interface in my local cash converters this morning for £40 pounds..should i buy this..seems to be mixed reviews on how good the sound is.i dont expect it to be fantastic however for the price this seems like a good buy...so has anyone had any expierience with this model and what do you think?..i will only be recording vocals and acoustic guitar through a rode nt1a and the occasional keyboard/synth now and again one track at a time.the lambada also comes with cubase le. cheers..please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible as i might buy it today befor its gone.....cheers again
 
looks good on paper
i considered it but bought an emu0404 and an ex25 instead
almost wish i had got something with more inputs now --
gotchas might be no new drivers - if you stay with xp then okay
lots of unverified complaints on the web - could be other companies badmouthing them or might be user error
 
Just had a good look at the reviews.
The preamps keep coming up as a problem.
I think I'd stay away from this one.
