Lexicon Alpha USB Audio Interface

what do you guys think of this recording interface? I want a cheap interface that enable me to record -mostly- acoustic guitar and vocals. With the option of recording some percussion/bass/etc. I mostly just want to be able to record demos that will sound decent in mp3 form.

any ideas/suggestions?

Wow...this is pretty cheap. I have no experience with this but I know that Lexicon makes good products..

Yeah I know... it seems like a really nice bit of hardware but the price tag kinda scares me

looks good to me, i'm not familiar with it.

lexicon makes a few cheap interfaces.. they have a killer looking firewire interface for like $500 or something! way more features than the firepod or anything else for that price.

it has only one xlr, But it does look good 24 bit recording. And it has the reverb built in. Should compare to the mobile pres and others in that price range. I was thinking of buying one of this for my brother, Its dirt cheap. Ill probaly just upgrade and give him what I got.
