help im sick and tired of this stupid soundcard im trying to install. im geting no sound. the only sound i hear is when windows boots up.i can plug in to cd headphone jack and hear sound. but when i plug into breakaway box i get nothing. i also downloaded all the lastest drivers. please help. im using intel p3 and cakewalk win98 2nd edition.

The core 2 can be a bit of an arse if you dont get it right first time. If you installed the included drivers first and then tried to update with the newest drivers then you are in for a nasty ride. You have to completely uninstall the old core2 drivers before installing the new ones - and this means hacking around in the registry. Someone at Lexicon will have the list of stuff you have to remove (if you're in the UK theres a guy at Pure Distribution (Lexicon UK) who can tell you all about it) It ain't pretty.
The box sounds good once it runs though
