Learning Disorder

I love buying instructional books for guitar. I have books on blues, jazz, scales, modes, classical, fingerstyle, etc., etc., etc. The problem is that I get one started, soon quit it and jump to another. It’s a vicious cycle from which nothing is getting accomplished. Any suggestions on how I can stick to one book through its completion without being distracted to jump to another?

You ever tried finding a friend who wants to learn the same stuff and work through it together? You can motivate each other and that might be a helpfull thing for both of you. Also learning with someone else is more fun than just working by yourself.
