Lawson Microphones.

I've tried the Lawson L47MP. Great mic, IMHO, and most people I've talked to agree. However, most people conclude, myself as well, that the more non-directional patterns have a lot smoother sound for vocals. Everyone seems to love it on acoustic guitar, but I haven't heard it on acoustic guitar myself; just vocals.

It its compedititon seems to be the Soundelux U99; but I haven't heard it myself.

It seems most people say that if the L47MP is not working for your voice, you should try a U99. And if the U99 is not working for your voice, you shuld try the L47MP.

Sorry, I haven't tried or even heard about any of the other models.

I've been waiting for them to post-up something about their preamp for the past 2 years or so, but they still haven't.

Couldn't get in to the site. I'll try again tommorow. Looks to me like a C12V painted gold. No? Is that the sound of the unit?
