latency according to connection type...

I'm wondering what the order is for the least latency according to how a soundcard is connected to the computer. Let's suppose I'm using the same spec computer for a PCI, Firewire, and USB 2.0, would the order from most latency to least be...

USB 2.0 > Firewire > PCI ?

all I have is a laptop so I am forced to use USB at the moment (no firewire), so I am just wondering for the future. Thanks for answering my semi-random question...

I think that would be correct...USB is slowest, then Firewire, then PCI.

Do you not have a PCMCIA card bus on your laptop?
