Usually I get stuck with some little Pakistani guy in his 70s who won't speak English and gets lost three times on the way from the airport to the hotel. The last time I paid with an airline voucher and he was some pissed. I've learned to ask what the fare is in advance; the ride seems to be a bit shorter and more direct that way.
On the other hand, when you need to get to the airport and the traffic is backed up, it can be a hoot to order up a limo and tell the guy to get me there on time one way or another. It's like being in a Blues Brothers chase scene.
