2 shooters?

A lot of people are hanging their hat on there being 2 shooters, the second shooter being on approximately the 4th floor. The glass (composite?) in those window openings weighs upwards of 800 lbs, from what I understand. Can't shoot through glass, and no way in hell someone removed the glass and re-installed after the shooting had stopped. Yes, there is a strobing light down there somewhere on the lower floors during the shooting, but it was also there well before the shooting started. It is not muzzle flash. *See vid below.

The shooter planned to escape? I think this speculation follows this line of thought. I am not certain of the accuracy, but it has been reported the shooter had body armor in his hotel room. He also had explosives in his vehicle. He attempted to cause an explosion by shooting jet fuel tanks at the airport from his hotel room. Why did he have explosives in his vehicle, but no apparent plan to use them? Well, he explodes fuel tanks, causing huge explosion, dons body armor, escapes the hotel under cover of mass confusion. Makes his way to his vehicle and the explosives therein. I don't really have an opinion on that, but there was no way he would escape responsibility for the shooting. The escape plan doesn't make sense, unless his plan was to suicide himself, taking as many as possible with him in the explosion.

Making millions off of video poker? Hogwash. Casinos are not in the business of rigging video poker machines to in the long run payout. There is a reason why casinos comp patrons, and it aint because they're winning millions playing video poker.

Motive? Dunno. Crazy is as crazy does? Dude has very little going on in his lonely existence, other than losing like a mofo at video poker. Supposedly very smart guy shoving big money at a rigged system? Not rational. Not rational rationalizes himself as a vicitm, decides he is going to burn this entire mofo down. We'll probably never know for certain.

You're probably right; if anyone is going to figure it all out, it's you! Forget years of forensic investigative techniques, thorough interviewing, and access to evidence - you don't need any of that. That actually puts them at a disadvantage. You might be our only hope in finding out what exactly happened. Keep up the good work.

What's your bag? I mean, really, what's up? You're offended, somehow? You want to make clear you don't feel certain things should be discussed by adding your 2 cents to the discussion you feel should not be discussed? I think everyone is clear on your position, you're being redundant(<----that's a big word which no doubt I am unaware of the true meaning).

You don't have to read my posts, you realize that, yeah? You can, I don't know, read other things, go back to beating everyone over the head with a dictionary? Have a ball.

If you can write your opinion on there being a conspiracy (which i do believe is slightly offensive to those families involved), why can't I write my opinion on there likely not being one? If you truly believed, would you be so offended so easily? Why does it bother you? If I agreed with you, would that make it better? Perhaps that's all you want....

objective: not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.

I'll send you that dictionary for christmas.

And why do I have to explain something I "believe" in. I did not say it IS offensive, I said I "believe" it is offensive. I think I'm entitled to my beliefs without having to explain them to you. And I can also say that you are the type of individual, as laid out here, who would not understand or comprehend why such a thing may be perceived as offensive.

Wow, conspiracy much?

I did suggest someone acted in collusion to keep watch remotely on the cameras based on thus far existing evidence which is not likely to change. Other than that, when did I suggest a conspiracy? Hell, in the post you quoted from, I was actually debunking. The entire post explores the possibility that he acted alone. There was no second shooter on the 4th floor. It was some sort of strobing light, was there even before the shooting began, he was the only shooter.

Do you even know what the word conspiracy means?

You read me wrong, friend, i'm not bothered or offended. Knock yourself out, write whatever you want. But writing over and over that we should not be writing about it is just dumb. Be the example to follow if you feel so strongly.

Mick, I will admit I read "2 shooters?" and quickly browsed the rest of the post. I did not read it in its entirety, and I assumed the post continued on the earlier trend of conspiracy theories tossed around in here. That ones on me. Apologies. It gets under my skin when folk attempt to solve grand crimes from their couches while educated minds and dedicated workers slave over evidence for months on end. I believe we should respect the process and let them do their job - wait to critique until the data is verifiable and presented in the most complete form possible.

Back to finding a good Halloween movie for the gal and I tonight. Thinking VHS.

I'm not trying to take a dig, but some of the things you said in the post above doesn't exactly jibe with other things you've said in the past.
