Laptop packaging

Hey there,

I was just looking for some advice on packaging up my laptop - I've just sold it on ebay. I've got a really good case for it, which I was selling with the laptop. I was thinking just some really sturdy cardboard fastened around it would do the job after that? With lots of 'fragile!' signs, haha. I'm not too worried, because our postal service seems to be pretty good at not damaging stuff too much.

I bought a laptop from ebay last year and it came packed inside its case in a fairly large box which if I remember correctly was lined with sheets of polystyrene, then packed with newspaper. I suspect that was a little over-the-top, but it arrived safely :)

Remember that you can buy Parcelforce postage through Paypal for a flat-rate £11.99 (for all packages up to 30kg), so seeing as it wouldn't cost any more to post it wouldn't harm to get a slightly bigger box and pack it more.
