Laney Pro Tube 50

i was reading on harmony central about dis amp head and although there was only one review it convinced me that it was worth getting. i can't seem to find anything else about it aroud except that other people actually own them, i read somewhere that the laney AOR series were crap in terms of reliabilty and they did an AOR pro tube 50 so i was wondering if that would count for the pro tube 50 (without the AOR bit), i really can't be affording new valves/tubes with my budget.

And more in general i have read that laney amps are well suited to metal which is what i'm looking for. I would like to get one but i'm not all that sure whether it is what i am looking for, i also have my boss vf-1 which if it sounds as cool as boss + cool laney tube amp then i'm in for some good sounds. i was also thinking about getting a 4x12 cab to go with it, i heard that laneys own were shit and that it was better to get a marshall but there are blooody laods of different ones and i would like something a bit cheaper. does anyone have a ny suggestions about a suitable cab to match it to?

And also i'm having trouble finding anywhere that sells (good) second hand amps IN THE UK . there is shit loads around america but i'm not getting it shipped frmo there expecting it to be in one piece and working and the price i can afford.

cheers ta

Oh yeah and the Laney GH50L (i thinks looks cool aswell if anybody has that. I tihnk i would prefer that since i emailed the guy who wrote the review at harmoney central and he has now sold it to buy a marshall something or other, so that rather changes the angle on that, plus it is one channel and no footswitch(the GH50L is only one channel but has an extra distortion stage footswitchable i believe).
cheers
