I've got an old Laney amp that I bought new in 85. It's been sitting around for years because it stopped working. Yesterday I drug it out and replaced the fuse in it and blew the spider webs out of the reverb springs, but now it's was working great. Now if I can get it to play loud enough without too much distortion I think it'll be a decent number 2 amp for me.

Any of you guys ever used Laneys?
 
Yeah, I used a Laney once for a recording session. I hated it, but it was all I had. Little solid state. Tone sucked. I have no idea what model or year it was, so I dont know if this helps at all.

Doesnt the guitarist from Limp Bizcuit (sp?) use Laney's?
