been doing this song for a while. finally had enough and mixed it down...just curious to hear some comments on the mix and levels, etc.

Not my genre so......take this with a large salt tablet...

The whole mix sits nicely in my headphones, rhythm centred, lead left, drums panned l/r and bass in center.....

Although everything is there it feels somewhat....compressed. Like its trying to get out and breathe.....The only thing that seems ok are the cymbals.....

Extreme panning at 3:00 is cool effect.....

Playing is dead on (death metal - lol). Very nice.....

Ending is cut off too quickly...would love some feedback or foldback there.

any recomendations to "allow it to breath" like you are saying??

Maybe look at reducing the compression on the mixdown. Allow a bit more dynamics in the instruments......
