These are onslae at guitar center for 150.00 is thata good price for speakers of this quality? do they sound good for the price?
 
Well, if they sound as good as my old KRKs, and theyre powered, Id say definitely. If I could do it over, I would go with powered near fields.
 
Ive had the rp5s for a couple months now and i think they are awesome for the money. i dont have any experience with other monitors to compare them with, but they really help with my mixes. They sound pretty good but i am definately going to be needing to add the krk subwoofer in the future. its hard to get the kick and bass guitar levels right, but i still am not all the way used to these speakers.
