does anyone know how to import .wav files (or if you can import .wav files) from pc to multitracker via usb? if i am in usb mode on my d1600 is there something i have to do in the explorer window with my .wav file? or what

is there some other way of getting pre-recorded cd audio onto my multitracker?

Don't own one but I would guess that you have to open up Windows Explorer on your computer and you'll see it listed as another drive like F: or something. click that drice litter and you should see the wav files.
