korg compared to pro tools

i am going to be getting a computer based set up like the pro tools digi001, but i just noticed a new product by korg. i has a mixer, a sound card, and software, and is 100$ cheaper. if anyone knows anything about this korg setup could you fill me in. hows the software, effects, anything you know. thanks

how many channels do you need to record at once? just curious.

well both systems already come with a sound card i think. they come wth some type of card. i know that. does anyone know the specifics of the korg setup?
