My wah peddle squeaks when i use it. no, i dont think a small rodent is stuck in there. i know this is a simple problem, but what kind of stuff should i spray on the gear? is wd-40 a good idea?

all educated suggestions appreciated.

Turn up your amps, for god's sake... We've got amps that go to 11 you know. When we need it, we can do just a little more... What, you only use 1 amp??

Serieus. It will probably be the mechanical parts. I think you best put some grease on it. As long as it doesn't touch the electronics, you can put anything on it really.

Put some lithium grease (not the spray-get the paste type) on the toothed post and gear inside the unit. That's what was most likely used originaly. On the pivot hinge on the outside, WD40 or any other liquid type lube will do fine. If you manage to get some oon the elecronics, or on the pot, clean it with a dyr cloth and the use electronic contact cleaner.
