Kick drum trouble

I made a whole immigrant song (sans vocals) just so I could prove my point.. www.rmmp.net and go to davedrummer. if u listen, im doing the double with my foot. the real bass drum note is coming in clear but the added 16th isnt. what can I do? I dont think its my volume or the quality of the recording. Its a beta 52 about 3 inches in

right now since im on dialup. Based on what your descirbing i would try some compression on the kick. You don't mention anything about it so im assuming your not using any. I almost always compress and gate the kick since alot of drummers are pretty crummy with their consistency.
 
I think Wireneck's suggestion is a good start for your kick.

Also the feel is a little different. Bonham plays a 16th note in there somewhere.

You got a great snare sound.
