I just got a Mackie 24/8 for $300 :D :D :D :D

True story. Buddy of mine is making his rig entirely portable and wanted to get rid of it. Never left his studio. I'm pretty excited to see what this beast can do.

Also, last week I was this close to snagging a Motu 896mk3 for $75. Guy just didn't understand how it worked and won it from a local store.
Ah, the life of a poor college kid....

So I'm not sure if that is going to make anyone maybe just a little bit jealous or not...but I'm excited about it, regardless. I think it'll help a TON with routing and headphone mixes and what not.
 
Wow, good deal! As you say, should be quite flexible for setting up monitor mixes.
I'd quite happily have a 896mk3 for $75 :D
My 896HD is looking a bit old and shabby now.
 
Just to make you even more jealous - A buddy once offered me his 32x8 for nothing if I'd just get it out of his place.

I turned him down.
 
Hey, a bud of mine was over last night and we were playing some things I hain't heard in a while on his 'me space we did on mr. mackie back in 90' something. Zounded oh ta. :)
 
THAT's nothing - I just saved a load of money by switching my insurance to Geico! ®
